Within the Lake District National Park, 1 mile from tranquil Ennerdale Water, it is ideally placed for exploring the unspoilt Western Lakes and coast. Heckbarley is available for weekly self-catering holidays, or short breaks, and sleeps up to 11 people. While staying at Heckbarley you have the opportunity to relax through admiring the local landscapes by car or on foot. For the more adventurous holiday maker activities include rock climbing, horse riding and fishing. Tranquil Ennerdale Water is only a mile from the cottage. It doesn't have a public road running along its shore line making this a haven of peace and tranquilty for wildlife.
Heckbarley cottage is located in the heart of the village, 50 metres from the the village pub, the Sheperds Arms, which servers wonderful meals.
